Mini Body Scan
A brief practice for noticing areas of the body with choices for comfort, pacing, and shifting attention when needed.
Before you begin
Notice without forcing.
Choose a position that feels supported enough. Keep your eyes open if preferred. You can skip any area, move your body, or stop at any time.
This practice is about noticing what is present. You do not need to relax, change a sensation, or feel a particular way.
Step 1 of 7
Support
Choosing a description is optional.
Practice complete
Let attention widen again.
Look around the space. Notice a color, shape, or sound, and return to your next activity at your own pace.
If attention to the body feels uncomfortable, shift toward the room, a sound, or a steady object. Stop if distress increases. This educational practice does not replace individualized mental health or medical care.
